Supporting Children with Autism in a Mainstream Setting
Valerie King (Muinteoir_Valerie) will explore ways in which the class teacher can support children with autism in a mainstream classroom, through creating a positive and inclusive setting for all.
She will explore strategies to help children manage change and transitions, social skills and so on.
Support documents to assist the teacher will be shared with all attendees.
