Understanding and managing emotions is fundamental to academic and social success. 
This session aims to equip teachers and SNAs with knowledge and tools to nurture a supportive learning environment that recognises and addresses the emotional needs of students. 
 
We will discuss the importance of emotional regulation, its impact on learning and behaviour from an OT perspective, and the connection between emotional well-being and academic performance. 
 
Participants will receive practical strategies for coaching emotional regulation skills, creating emotionally safe classrooms, and empowering students to navigate their emotions effectively.
