Phonics- Heggerty Phonemic Awareness & UFLI Foundations Phonics: A Practical Classroom Guide

Target audience: Mainstream or Special Education teachers who are considering adopting or have recently adopted Heggerty and/or UFLI into their settings.

This Live Webinar will provide teachers with a brief background on emerging research in this area as well as a deep dive into the Heggerty & UFLI Foundations websites and the bank of key resources and assessments that can be used in their own settings.  Participants will get a real sense of the programmes with sample lessons, classroom resources as well as practical tips from teachers using them on a daily basis.

Having adopted these exciting new programmes over the past year, they feel they are in the position to support  teachers who may be interested in exploring Heggerty & UFLI on a practical level.
Both Heggerty and UFLI Foundations are explicit, systematic programmes that provide practitioners with the language and sequence for teaching early literacy skills in a busy classroom.
