Teacher & Artist Partnership as a CPD Model
This unique course offers teachers the opportunity to explore the value of partnerships between teachers and artists in supporting arts education. If you are looking to improve your understanding of arts education, to improve Arts Curriculum integration in your classroom and to engage with a professional artist as a way of improving your own creativity and arts teaching skills, this is the course for you.
The course looks at practical teacher/artist projects and partnerships that have been undertaken in schools recently. Various art forms will be explored and participants will have opportunities to explore their own creativity. Participating teachers from our catchment schools will have the opportunity to apply for a funded artist in residency opportunity to work in partnership with a participating artist during the following academic year.
