Preparing for Science Week - Exploring fun, easy STEM activities for everyone

This webinar offers participants practical support in preparing a whole school approach to enjoying Science Week.  Focusing on enquiry based learning, the webinar aims to encourage staff to bring STEM investigations out of the regular classroom and into wider school environment.  An effective Science Week lets students happen upon open ended investigations, where opportunities to ask questions and savour wonder are around every corner of their learning environment.

Resources and activities for exploration will include:

  • 40 things to do with an ice-cube
  • Testing the absorbency of kitchen paper
  • Designing and making an easy functional robotic arm
